✔ December – The Ultimate CES 2020 Prep list

Well we don’t have time to sit in shock of how quickly the year went by. December is always filled with excitement. CES is the show that I love and hate. Fun, exciting and utterly exhausting. The biggest tradeshow of the year is looming in barely one month and will be here before we want it to.

The biggest thing to remember this week…The pre-registered press list comes out soon. If you are an exhibitor at CES 2020 this year, you should watch for and get notification of the upcoming release of the coveted media list that will be available in your exhibitor portal. With more than 3000 media from all over the world, this list is your key to getting mentioned in the news during CES week.

Outside of that, this month may seem light for client activity but it is heavy in CES prep. Actually, it’s probably not that light at all, so make the most of your days so you can enjoy those few wonderful holiday moments you have to relax. Here’s what you should be focusing on in early December:

The December CES Checklist Preview of Tasks

  • Appointment outreach and scheduling
  • Set up a show landing page for digital reference of marketing materials
  • Create a booth schedule
  • Begin media outreach and scheduling
  • Upload press kit to CES site
  • Print Schedules, marketing materials, and press documents
  • Set aside demo/product units (if you have hardware)
  • Schedule pre-briefings
  • Schedule on-site briefings
  • Ship/pack press materials

If you still love actually checking things off of a list (like we do), we’ve created a PDF doc that’s perfect for you.
